Why is this project important to you? Pourquoi ce projet vous tient-il à coeur ?
Dear friends & family, Dad (Sadi) lost his battle against an agressive brain tumor at the end of 2020. As a family, we would like to honour his memory in a meaningful way. On 3rd June 2023 we wil be climbing the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales in less than 24 hours. This represents about 3000m of elevation and 40+km, spread over the Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. We have been training since Christmas. We will have 2 guides helping us achieve our ambitious goal, and a driver will take us from one location to the next in a little bus. Most impressive fact: Mum (Béatrice) is participating too! These are the 13 participants among Dad's beloved ones: Béatrice, Emmanuèle, Alexandra, Lauriane, Geoffroy, Nicolas, Rodolphe, Sophie, Olivia, Baudouin, Grégoire, Pauline & Antoine
What is your goal? Quel est votre objectif ?
In loving memory of Dad, in name of those who are currently battling cancer and those who were gone too soon, we are aiming to raise 20,000€ for the Fondation Contre le Cancer (FR) - Stichting Tegen Kanker (NL) in Belgium. This national and independent Cancer Foundation's mission is to transform Hope into Victory. They are doing an extraordinary job in Cancer Research, in Cancer Prevention and in Accompanying Cancer Patients and their Families. We would be extremely grateful for any donation, no amount is too small! Fiscal deduction for residents in Belgium as of 40€. You can donate from any country! If you are located in the USA, please select 'Etats-Unis' as your country in the drop down menu for your address. If you are located in the UK, please select 'Royaume-Uni'. Finally, your gift can be kept anonymous: you simply need to tick the box 'Je souhaite que mon don soit anonyme' appearing on the page after your payment went through. You can also leave us a support message in the box just above that sentence. All the remaining fields on that page can be left blank. Thank you ever so much! ❤️
